ABOUT THE CLASSES

Women's Traditional Taekwondo and Self Defense:  A "women-only" class for all levels.  Focuses primarily on the traditional aspects of Taekwondo as a self-defense and self-discipline.  Includes core conditioning components as well as flexibility, lengthening, and breath awareness.

Taekwondo Tigers:  4-5 yrs, or 6-7 yrs.  A class designed for teaching large to fine motor skills developing greater overall strength and enhancing later athletic ability in all sports, especially taekwondo.  A fun-filled, high energy class teaching foundational Taekwondo ideals like courtesy, honesty, patience, and respect.

Family Taekwondo: A basic level class dedicated to families who want to train together.  Mostly traditional taekwondo with elements of sport taekwondo.

Moo Do Ho Shin Sul: Combination of several styles of defensive martial arts such as Combat Hapkido, Hapkido, and Chin Na.  Learn meditation and chi manipulation as well as practical self defense.

Traditional Taekwondo: Traditionally outlined classes with complete training for individuals.  All levels.

Olympic Taekwondo:  Focuses on sport aspect of Olympic Taekwondo for competition-oriented individuals as part of the MTC Team.  Taekwondo is an Olympic Sport and a great workout even if you aren't interested in national competition.

Private Lessons and Private Training: One on one lessons with Master Instructor.  Individuals can improve at a faster rate with private lessons.  Private training is for individuals or small groups(2-4) who want to train physical components for increases in speed, agility, flexibility, and power.

Olympic Sparring: Olympic fighting.  Children, teens and adults enjoy learning sportsmanship, and the importance of respect, perseverance, and self-control.  Sparring is a good general test of the student's  physical, emotional (control of) and mental capabilities in a safe, controlled environment.
