ABOUT THE CLASSES
Women's Traditional Taekwondo and Self Defense: A "women-only" class for all levels. Focuses primarily on the traditional aspects of Taekwondo as a self-defense and self-discipline. Includes core conditioning components as well as flexibility, lengthening, and breath awareness.
Taekwondo Tigers: 4-5 yrs, or 6-7 yrs. A class designed for teaching large to fine motor skills developing greater overall strength and enhancing later athletic ability in all sports, especially taekwondo. A fun-filled, high energy class teaching foundational Taekwondo ideals like courtesy, honesty, patience, and respect.
Family Taekwondo: A basic level class dedicated to families who want to train together. Mostly traditional taekwondo with elements of sport taekwondo.
Moo Do Ho Shin Sul: Combination of several styles of defensive martial arts such as Combat Hapkido, Hapkido, and Chin Na. Learn meditation and chi manipulation as well as practical self defense.
Traditional Taekwondo: Traditionally outlined classes with complete training for individuals. All levels.
Olympic Taekwondo: Focuses on sport aspect of Olympic Taekwondo for competition-oriented individuals as part of the MTC Team. Taekwondo is an Olympic Sport and a great workout even if you aren't interested in national competition.
Private Lessons and Private Training: One on one lessons with Master Instructor. Individuals can improve at a faster rate with private lessons. Private training is for individuals or small groups(2-4) who want to train physical components for increases in speed, agility, flexibility, and power.
Olympic Sparring: Olympic fighting. Children, teens and adults enjoy learning sportsmanship, and the importance of respect, perseverance, and self-control. Sparring is a good general test of the student's physical, emotional (control of) and mental capabilities in a safe, controlled environment.
