MuDo HoShinSul is based on the philosophies and theories of traditional Hapkido. Breathing, meditation and stretching techniques coupled with the theories of water, circle, and harmony set this program apart from just another self defense class.

Our students also train in Combat Hapkido, a street-smart program of techniques designed to enable the student with the immediate ability to defend themselves from day one. Combat Hapkido has as its philosophy the ideas of moral, ethical, and legal use of the defensive arts. The more advanced students also train in a sub-art of White Crane Kung Fu called Chin Na. Chin Na is used by most Chinese police in controlling criminals using empty hand techniques.
